Upcoming: CALMC Membership Meeting March 23

On March 23, 2017 Columbus Area Labor-Management Committee will host our next membership meeting, and we are inviting you to attend.

The CALMC Membership Meeting will be Thursday, March 23rd at the Seafarers’ Union Hall, 2800 S. High St. in Columbus. Breakfast will begin at 8 A.M., with the meeting and presentation to follow. At the meeting we will also elect members to the CALMC Board of Trustees.

Our guest presenters will be from the United Way of Central Ohio. Most residents of Central Ohio are aware of the charitable efforts of the United Way and their involvement in our community. You may not have heard of the programs they have that directly benefit employees and employers. They also have free programs to help everyone, such as tax preparation.

At our meeting, representatives from United Way will tell about these and other great services. If you or your colleagues do not know a service is available, they cannot take advantage of it. At the meeting, you will have the chance to learn about some of the opportunities available through the United Way.

If you would like to attend, call 614-263-2044 or contact us through our website by Wed., March 15th. The cost is $10 for Breakfast Buffet, cash or checks only.  Checks should be made out to CALMC.  We hope to see you there.
