CALMC 2012 Golf Outing

On Friday, Sept. 7th, CALMC held its annual golf outing.  Pictures of the outing are posted on the CALMC Facebook page.  Check them out to see if you recognize anybody!

For those of you unaware of what all CALMC does, CALMC has quarterly membership meetings.  A golf outing is one of those meetings so everyone can have a little fun.

We have it because we want everyone to come together and relax. After the game we have a steak luncheon and everybody leaves with a door prize as well as prizes for the skillful golfers.  Some of us may not be so skilled but come for the camaraderie and good time.

It’s just another good example of how to build strong relationships.  It doesn’t matter what your title is, or what you do, or which side of the fence you’re on because it’s about everybody getting together.  It’s about celebrating accomplishments.  It’s about celebrating friendships.  It’s about supporting each other.

Recently, we’ve been talking a lot about what CALMC does and we’ve told people, “it’s the relationship building we do so people can work together to resolve issues at work and to make their workplaces stronger.”

The golf outing helps to build positive community labor-management relations .

We also want to share the list of hole sponsors:

Franklin County Labor Council, AFL-CIO

National Association of Electrical Contractors, Central Oh. Chapter

IBEW, Local 683

OCSEA/AFSCME Local 11

Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 189

Edward Jones Investments- Tim Byers, Financial Planner
