Governor Praises Ohio Means Jobs Website

This week, Governor Kasich praised the Ohio Means Jobs website. We couldn’t agree more with the Governor. This website is an outstanding resource for job seekers and employers.

We will feature a presentation on Ohio Means Jobs at our May 4 forum,

Jobs – Preservation
Jobs – Creation
Jobs – Transition

The Ohio Means Jobs website went on line about a year ago. It allows job seekers to post resumes and search for jobs in Ohio. The website works in conjunction with Monster.com to promote Ohio employment. Job seekers can also perform career exploration, determine training needs, and review occupational summaries. Upcoming job fairs and workshops are listed on the events page.

Ohio-based employers have access to the talents and skills within millions of resumes belonging to Ohioans and those looking to locate to Ohio through the site. They can search these results to find the right candidate or post job openings for job seekers.

I can’t begin to describe all of the features of the website in this entry. To learn more about it, check out the site at https://ohiomeansjobs.com/omj/ or come to our forum on May 4. Contact CALMC if you are interested in attending.

Next week, we will post the full agenda for the forum.
